Parking Permits
Beginning Monday, Sept. 21, 2026, digital parking permits will be required for vehicles parked on campus.
The Foothill-De Anza Community College District uses the iParq digital parking permit system. Your vehicle's license plate serves as your parking permit, so there is no physical permit or decal to display.
If you do not have access to a mobile device, you can also use parking machines located in Parking Lot A, Parking Lot B and the first level of the Flint Garage. Locations are marked on parking lot signage.
For questions regarding digital parking permits, please contact parking@fhda.edu.
If you have received a citation, visit the district website for details.

Student and Staff Parking
Parking permits are free for currently enrolled students and all employees.
Students and employees must register their vehicle through iParq using their CWID and password. Do not create a separate iParq account. Your CWID login will automatically link you to your iPard account, where you can manage your vehicles and parking permits.
Staff parking spaces are marked in yellow. Student parking spaces are marked in white.
Students parked in staff-designated lots or spaces will receive a parking citation.
For detailed instructions, visit deanza.edu/parking/digitalpermitinstructions.
Visitor Permits
Visitors and guests are required to register their vehicle for a daily digital parking permit. Daily visitor permits are valid at all district locations: Foothill College, De Anza College and the Sunnyvale campus. Daily permits are valid only for the date(s) selected.
Visitors and guests may purchase a daily permit through the iParq visitor store. Visitors with a pre-approved complimentary parking code may enter the code in the pre-approval search when obtaining their permit.
For detailed instructions, visit deanza.edu/parking/digitalpermitinstructions.
Disability Parking
Designated handicapped parking spaces are located in every parking lot at De Anza
for cars with disability parking placards or license plates issued by the California
Department of Motor Vehicles.
If you have a DMV disability placard or license plate, you do not need a De Anza parking permit. You may park in any student or staff space, provided that your DMV placard is visible through your windshield.
Some disability parking spots are extra wide for the convenience of people using wheelchairs. Please don’t use these if you don’t have a wheelchair.
For more information, see our Disability Parking page.
30-Minute Free Parking
There are parking spaces with no permit required for short-term parking needs in these lots:
- Lot A, near the Registration and Student Services Building (Admissions Office, Bookstore, other offices)
- Lot C, near the Physical Education Quad
There are also a few 20-minute spaces in the Flint Garage. See our Campus Map page for help finding these lots.
Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
Ten charging stations for electric vehicles are available for use in Parking Lot B, in the row closest to the L Quad.
Twelve charging stations are also available in Parking Lot E.
See the Electric Vehicle Charging page for more information.
Reserved Bike Parking
Visit our Bicycle Parking page to learn where to park on campus and how to sign up for a spot in the reserved bike parking corral.
