Managing Technology Projects
Course Description
This is an introduction to the theory and practice of the design and management of technology projects, including planning, performing, and monitoring of projects. Topics include estimating costs and schedules, analyzing client expectations, and guiding diverse groups of people toward a common goal while earning a profit, and the use of common software packages for project management.

CIS -079.-62Z: Fully ONLINE. This is an online lecture, laboratory class. The lecture and laboratory do not have scheduled meetings and can be completed independently each week on the student's own time. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system.
