Course Description
This course covers the fundamentals of differential calculus. Because it is an honors course, students will be expected to complete extra assignments to gain deeper insight into calculus.

MATH-1AH.-07Y: Honors class, need permission from instructor to add, please attend class on first week of the quarter and obtain an Add Code. TI-83 Plus or TI-84 Plus calculator is recommended and may be required for this course. HYBRID, meets on-campus and online. This class meets each week on campus and online as noted in the class listing. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. Most De Anza classes will use the Canvas course management system. We recommend a laptop or desktop computer to successfully complete the course; a tablet or phone may not be adequate for all assignments and tests. - MATH 32., MATH 32H, MATH 43. or MATH 43H (with a grade of C or better), or appropriate score on Calculus Placement Test within the past calendar year
