Advanced Badminton


Course Description

This course provides a further examination of Kinesiology through the sport of badminton, including an in-depth study of the sport at an advanced level. It covers rules, equipment, facilities, etiquette, and advanced skills and strategies related to competitive play. Basic concepts in exercise physiology, nutrition, flexibility, and strength will be covered to improve physical condition and enhance performance at a more advanced level. The skills portion of the course will encourage an understanding of how to adapt the game and conventional techniques to age, gender, and physical conditions.
