About the Academy
The De Anza College Academy offers enrichment classes for students in elementary, middle, and high school during the summer months. The Academy program is open to all students, regardless of their school district.
Middle and high school students will experience the thrill of learning on a college campus. Here's what makes our program truly special:
- IMMERSIVE COLLEGE EXPERIENCE: Students learn in modern classrooms surrounded by scenic fountains, lush landscapes, and outdoor artwork.
- STATE-OF-THE ART FACILITIES: Classes include hands-on learning in specialized spaces like our planetarium, 3D printing lab, art gallery, and sports facilities.
- CONVENIENCE AND SECURITY: Parents enjoy easy, stress-free pickup and drop-off, free parking, and ample supervision to ensure your peace of mind.
- A GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE: From cutting-edge tech to engaging classes taught by expert instructors, your student will get a sneak peek into what college is all about.
Summer Registration
The academy catalog and full class offerings will be posted by Friday, February 7th. We'll email you when summer classes are posted so you can begin to prep your child's schedule.
Summer session registration will officially open on Febuary 18, 2025.
We encourage parents to plan a full morning of two to four classes to give your student the best experience on campus as possible.
The program runs on the De Anza College campus from 8:30am to 12:55pm.
Common Core Overview
De Anza College Academy offers students exciting and engaging real-world experiences in a supportive and encouraging environment. Our credentialed teachers have substantial expertise in their subject areas, are well-versed in the needs of the age group they instruct, and are leaders in the classroom.
Coding and Electronics Overview
Our coding, robotics, and integrated engineering teachers bring tremendous knowledge to their classes. Each course is academically inspirational and fun!

- January 6 to April 4 | In-Person - Wednesday & Thursday - 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Remote - Tuesday & Friday. Our office is closed on Mondays.
