Approval of Minutes 

• Inter-Varsity motioned to approve the minutes from October 4, 2023. 
• Women in Business seconded the motion; no objections.

Public Comments 

• Art Guild - This Friday, 10/20 - The Art Guild has an online meeting at 3 o’clock! We’ll be playing online drawing games, getting to know each other, and announcing future events!
• Maritza: Tomorrow, October 19th from 10AM to 1PM in the Quad many reps from different colleges will be showing up to table and offer information about their.
• Maritza: HBCU (Historic Black College and Universities) specific transfer event on the week of 10/23-10/27 all throughout campus and in the main block. 

Advisor Announcements 

• Maritza: Friendly reminder to sign-in using the link in the chat if signing in via Zoom. Be sure to include your name and including your club -- clubs get marked absent if this is not specified. You cannot sign in for more than one club, your attendance will ONLY be counted for 1 of them (we will reach out to you regarding that). 
  • If any website/zoom accounts have been requested, we will get to it as soon as possible.
  • Office of College Life Newsletter: Helps students/staff/faulty to stay in the loop about what is going in on the OCL office, DASG, ICC and Mentors programs. If you would like to submit your club event (Over 100-200 students are signed up) it's a great way to promote. Your event needs to be approved by student accounts and/or Office of College Life FIRST before we can include them. 
  • Office Hours for ICC Chairs have been decided for ICC Chairs: visit the ICC Homepage for the information. 
  • Seek support if you need it, be sure to educate yourself about what is going on regarding Israel and Palestine. There's many things that impact different student/staff communities on a personal level that we are not always aware of.

ICC Executive Updates 

• Sean H: Been working with new clubs and received 2-3 new club applications. 
• Homecoming Support needed - contact Dana S and Darin Djapri. 
  
• Carys A: Been creating promotions for Homecoming and collaborating with DASG Marketing to do so. 
• Joel N: Currently doing Intern Applications. If you know anyone that wants to be an ICC Intern be sure to let them know and have them submit an application! If you are waiting for a response, they are currently in the review process. 
• Sean H: If you want to start a new club, the latest you can do so is by the end of the month on October 30, 2023 by 1:30 PM.

• Club Day Debrief and Expectations
  • Glows vs. Grows from ICC
  • Maritza:  RSVP by the deadline - many RSVP'd or did not do so. It makes it challenging to get you the materials you need such as tables, chairs etc. There was not enough time to ask for more if need be. 
    • Lots of trash was left out; Sunken Garden will not remain beautiful if we do not take care of it. If you see that there is trash around, pick it up. 
    • Many brought chocolates that unfortunately melted in the sun and got stuck to the ground. This causes our space to be unclean. 
    • Biggest club day since the start of the pandemic; happy to see more students. 
  • Joel N: Some of the best participation since moving back on campus from the pandemic. If any feedback, there will be a Jamboard at the end of the session. 
  • Dana S: Agrees with Joel N and there was a wonderful turnout.
